Healthy Cooking. Meal #5

Closing the healthy cooking series today is a simple but mouth watering meal. Methods of cooking Boiling and Frying(Without oil LOL).

Boiled Rice & Rosemary Liver.



  • Rice
  • Margarine
  • Salt
  • Tomatoes
  • Onions
  • Rosemary spice
  • Curry Powder
  • Royco
  • Tandoori spice

How to prepare.

  1. Measure the rice and wash. Measure water into a pot bring to boil with margarine and salt. Put in the rice,lower the heat and when there is little water remaining cover the rice. Keep on checking with a fork and remove when ready.
  2. Wash the liver under clean running water. Put in a pot with no water. (P.s liver is never boiled, if you do so it becomes hard) when the liver starts to brown pot in the chopped onions and add a little water very little remember we are frying without oil. Put in the tomatoes this helps because the juice they extract prevents the liver from sticking on the pot. If it does keep adding water little by little.
  3. Add in all the spices and the rosemary cover and let it simmer for about 10 min and serve.

Simple and delicious!!
